Der gemeinnützige Verein Friends of Novaya Gazeta Europe, mit Sitz in der Schweiz, hat den Zweck, die Presse- und Meinungsäusserungsfreiheit zu fördern. Dies durch Öffentlichkeitsarbeit und die Generierung finanzieller Mittel zugunsten des jungen unabhängigen europäischen Mediums Novaya Gazeta Europe, das von ehemaligen JournalistInnen der Novaya Gazeta betrieben wird, die aus Russland flüchten mussten.

Некоммерческая ассоциация Друзья Новой газеты Европа, базирующаяся в Швейцарии, ставит своей целью продвижение свободы прессы и свободы слова. Мы делаем это через работу по связям с общественностью и генерирование финансовых ресурсов в пользу молодого независимого европейского СМИ Новая газета Европа, которое делают бывшие журналисты российской Новой газеты, оказавшиеся в изгнании в Риге.
What we stand for
Friends of Novaya Gazeta Europe is a non-profit association based in Switzerland, which aims to promote freedom of the press and freedom of expression. We focus our public relations efforts and accumulate financial resources to ensure the functioning of Novaya Gazeta Europe, a young independent news media run by the former Novaya Gazeta journalists who had to flee Russia.
